This afternoon, we were at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Ft. Wayne (it’s two blocks away from the Hilton). At the Mass, those to be invested in the order tomorrow bring their capes with them and they are blessed by the bishop. Then, others in the order received their many different promotions.
After the ceremony, we had the Mass of Our Lady of Palestine, the patroness of the Equestrian Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. It was a very moving Mass and Bishop Rhoads was extremely gracious to all in attendance. He also gave a wonderful talk this morning at our meeting in the convention center.
