I got my day off today. Sort of.
It began with a bit of office work and the celebration of a sacrament midmorning. Then I left for my condo.
When there, I was made aware of a couple of things that took a lot of my attention away from relaxing. Then, the weather alert began going off for potentially violent storms late afternoon/early evening.
They were working on the church roof today putting down new boards and tarping. I was worried about what would happen. So, with way too much on my mind, I came back to the parish to monitor several situations.
Late afternoon, I saw the very dark skies approaching and then the horizontal rains began to slash. Oy yoy yoy.
So, scratchy throat, difficult breathing with the weather fluctuating like mad, and a sinus headache that came in with the front that barreled through, I’m a bit of a mess tonight.
I want my mommy.
