Three Things

ONE:  Today is my parents wedding anniversary.  On this day, I always pray for all married couples, especially those who may be in marriages that are not always happy or peaceful.  My parents’ marriage was sometimes chaotic and not always so happy.  I pray for peace for all.

TWO:  One week from today, I leave for my annual fall vacation.  I will be flying down to Orlando in order, later next week, to board the Adventure of the Seas for an Eastern Caribbean cruise.  Given the stress of our church improvement project (roofing, lights, paint, sound), I can’t wait to get away and decompress.  🙂

THREE:  This afternoon, three pieces of furniture were delivered to my condo: two glider/swivel chairs and one computer desk.  They are set up in the gathering space of the condo.  I’m thinking that is probably the last bit of furniture that I will be purchasing.  Renovation work on my closets (two in the master bedroom and one in the guest bedroom) will pretty much finish up the work at the condo as well.  Now, all I have to do is move in after I retire.  8 1/2 months.
