God is good.
I made it through Holy Week and the Easter Masses.
A couple of months ago, I noticed that, when I made the celebrant schedule, I had myself down for the 6:30 and 8:00 a.m. Masses on Easter Sunday. A lot of people questioned that because I always do the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon on Christmas and Easter.
Well, I think God knew ahead of time that I was going to be sick and that the 10 & Noon would be too much for me. The 6:30 and 8:00 a.m. were much more low key and, once I finished, I was able to rest.
Now that Easter day is coming to a close, I am feeling stronger and my voice is coming back more. Go figure. 🙂
But, I made it through everything. It was not the way I envisioned Holy Week and Easter but, then again, life doesn’t always follow what we envision, does it?
