Today was our stop at Key West. After going through Immigration/Passport Control, we were free to go on our excursions. I purchased the Hop On/Hop Off Trolley Transportation as well as entry to the Key West Butterfly Conservatory. Did I enjoy myself? Did I find some inner peace? Tomorrow, I fly back home to Chicago Midway from Fort Lauderdale Airport. I will be back to the rectory by 9:30 p.m. and ready to start the day on Saturday morning with morning Mass as well as a funeral Mass. Nothing like getting right back to work, eh? 🙂
