Every time I tried to get something done today, something else came up and needed to be done. I kept bouncing from one thing to another. Finally, mid-afternoon, things slowed down a little bit and a delivery came in for me from Amazon. It was two shelf/light units that I purchased for the condo. So, at 3:30 p.m., I found myself at the condo putting the units together and hooking up the smart lights to my Alexa. Now, when I walk in, I can say, “Alexa, living room on” and the lights in the living room will come on. I can also do the same thing in the bedroom.
I like technology. Especially when it works as advertised. 🙂
Afterwards, I went to Gino’s in Dyer to have dinner with a friend. As I was waiting for my friend to arrive, someone had an accident in front of the entrance to the restaurant. I thought to myself, “Typical for today.” I called my friend and warned him about the possibility of being blocked. However, the accident cleared before he arrived.
Dinner was good, as usual.
Sleep will be even better. Four more sleeps to Christmas.
