Today was supposedly a day off as the office was closed for the Christmas holiday. However, between last night and this morning, I’ve picked up two funerals for this week, having to turn a third down as they wanted to have it the same time that another funeral was scheduled. What I was hoping to be a relatively slow week so that I could relax, unwind from the holiday Mass schedule, and pack/prepare for my vacation beginning Sunday has turned into a tight schedule for the week and I’m having to find time to get everything done that needs to be finished before I leave.
I’m just praying that the flights don’t get screwed up because of COVID. If I have to, I’ll walk to Florida! 🙂
