Sunday

Actually, I wish that were the case.

Instead, I was at the church at 4:45 a.m. to open up for morning Masses.  I did not have the 6:30 or 8:00 a.m. Masses, visiting priests did because Fr. Andrew is on vacation.  I had the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon.  Instead of going to the house and resting up again after opening, I remained in my office and began working feverishly on the Daily Reflections for the two week period that I will be away on vacation.

By the time of the 12:00 Noon Mass, I had all the reflections written through Sunday, November 11th.  Woo Hoo!!!

After the Noon Mass, I had three baptisms.  Two of them were for the children of parents that I brought into the Church last year through the RCIA program.  That was very exciting.  The third was a young girl who was very excited to be baptized.

This afternoon I was busy gathering things together to pack on Wednesday.  I am in “pre-vacation” mode.  However, the next few days are going to be busy with both morning Masses each day as well as a funeral tomorrow and Tuesday.  I’m going to have to earn my vacation! 🙂
