Invasion!

I was attacked this evening.  But first, let me talk about the day.

We had four . . . count ’em: 4 . . . sessions today.  They each lasted approximately two weeks.  🙂  So, anyway, after a very long day, we had dinner.  I have to say that they take care of us here very good and feed us very well.  Breakfast is in Dickies Restaurant.  The basic breakfast buffet is served there.  Lunch was a fantastic ham sandwich with brie on a pretzel bun with cookie for dessert.  The sandwich was HUGE and very good.  Dinner tonight was chicken cordon bleu with risotto and zucchini done al dente.  We had cheesecake for dessert.

Afterwards, both because of the long day sitting and the dinner sitting in me, I went out for a walk with Fr. Brian.  It was outside that we were both attacked.  Brutally assaulted.  Well, I guess “attack” isn’t the right word.  “Swarmed” would be the right word.  Those mosquitoes are horrible tonight!

So, it was a quick walk to the road and back, swatting all the way.  We broke the walk off early and got back into the safety of the resort.  I’m getting ready to hit the sack.  I didn’t sleep too good last night.  The bed is extremely firm and I was up on and off throughout the night.  I hope to catch up on my sleep tonight.

For those of you who are praying for us, your prayers are working.  We are getting a LOT of information.  Please continue those prayers.

Here’s the front of our resort, by the way.  This is a really nice place.  They are used to having us as we have been coming here every other year for, gee, I’d say about eight convocations already, sixteen years.
