A Hectic Day

Today was a hectic day and, I have to admit, I’m bushed.  I had the 9:00 a.m. Mass this morning.  Usually, I don’t have Mass on Thursday mornings since my “day off” is Wednesday noon through Thursday noon.  The Carmelite Fathers take the 6:30 a.m. Masses on Thursday and Friday and Fr. Declan has the 9:00 a.m. on Thursday and I have the 8:30 a.m. on Friday.  However, Fr. Declan is out of town this week.

That left me having to take the morning things here.  Afterwards, I went to Strack and Van Til both in Munster as well as Griffith to stock up on pop for the office.  We were almost out of everything.  Two huge loads later, we’re stocked back up again.

That led me to the afternoon and a virtual diocesan personnel board meeting.  After the meeting, I had a wake service for Bill O’Brien.  His funeral is one of two funerals I have tomorrow.  I have two funerals Saturday (and one Monday) as well.  It’s been busy here.

So, that being said, I’m going to relax this evening, maybe watch a little YouTube, and eventually hit the sack.  See you tomorrow.
