Well, the festival opened today to a very wet start. We had a light rain begin around Noon and by the 1:00 p.m. start time, it was raining for certain. Not hard, but steady.
And hardly any of us were complaining. Was it a nuisance? Yes. But, did we all recognize the fact that we needed that rain desperately? Again, yes. A resounding yes. You could practically hear the ground sighing in relief.
After that early afternoon rain, things cleared up. We might end up getting more rain tonight as it gets near the closing time of the festival but we’ll make adjustments as needed and thank God for the rains that we received today.
While I’m thanking, allow me to thank all of you who attended the festival thus far. Tomorrow is our last day (1:00 to 9:00 p.m.) and the forecast looks perfect.
g’night, all
