Today was a rather sad day for me. After the morning Mass, one of my parishioners came to speak about what may very well be the end of his life. He has been struggling with conditions for many years and it looks like the doctors might be running out of options for him.
While confident in a life to come, it’s always sad to consider saying goodbye to family and friends. That is what he is dealing with and that is what I am now dealing with as well as I consider saying goodbye to him perhaps relatively soon.
Give him strength and grace, dear Lord.
