Don’t Be Caught Unaware

It’s that time of year again.  That’s right.  It’s “spring ahead” season. 🙂

You heard right.  It’s “spring ahead” not “fall back”.  This is the time of year we lose an hour of sleep.  The time change is official at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023.  At that time, it becomes 3:00 a.m.

Changing the time makes you lose an hour of sleep but it prevents you from being late for other things.

This is also the time of year when we are encouraged not only to change our clocks but to change our batteries in our smoke detectors.  If you do not have hardwired smoke detectors, it is important to have fresh batteries in them.

Too many times people are under the assumption that their smoke detectors are functional when, in reality, the batteries have died.  A non-functioning smoke detector is a danger to you and your loved ones.
