We had a special guest at the morning Mass today: a sparrow.
Yep. Somehow, a bird got into the church and was flying around and chirping loudly, alternately entertaining and distracting the students at their all school Mass.
After the Mass, it perched on the organ. Since that is close to the side doors, our music director opened the doors and well as the slider doors to the outdoors. In short order, it flew back where it belonged.
