I’ve been running pretty crazy for the past several days so today I decided that I was going to do as much of nothing as possible. I had the evening Mass last night and the two early ones this morning (6:30 and 8:00 a.m.) I was at the church at 5:00 a.m. to unlock the building for those who come very early to pray before the 6:30 a.m. Mass. Before you ask, yes, we do have people who come that early to pray. Go figure.
When I finished my Masses, I stayed in my office and got the work done for the Pastor’s Page and the cover of next Sunday’s bulletin. That way, I wouldn’t have to worry about working on it tomorrow. I also got my daily reflection done for tomorrow morning.
Around 11:30 a.m., I was back at the house. I watched something on tv for awhile until 12:45 p.m. when I went back to the church to lock and alarm. With that, I was done for the day.
I came back to the house and have been putzing around all afternoon. Watching movies, surfing the web, reading and just generally relaxing. It felt good!
And now, I’m getting ready for sleep. g’night
