I get a lot of compliments about how I “run” my parish. I tell people all the time, it’s not me. I let people do what needs to be done. I generally get the credit for it even though it’s not me, it’s them.
Today is a perfect example of that. We had our annual parish picnic. It was wildly successful. It would not have been accomplished without one of my parishioners pulling together a whole string of volunteers to get everything accomplished.
To all of you who are the ones who are the true reasons for the success of our parish family, I humbly say Thank YOU!
