Had a lot going on today. It began with the 8:30 a.m. Mass. After Mass, we had a funeral Mass with cremains present for someone who passed away at the beginning of the pandemic. At that time, we could only accommodate ten people in the chapel for Mass. So, we planned this follow up Mass for “when the pandemic was over”. Well, as you know, it’s not over; but, at least we were able to accommodate many more family/friends at this morning’s Mass.
In the afternoon, I heard confessions as I do every Saturday afternoon. I left confessions a little early because I had to go to St. James in Highland to celebrate the 5:00 p.m. Mass since they were a priest short today.
When I left the parish, I stopped at Walgreens in Highland to restock on a few essential over-the-counter medications and some sugar-free powders to flavor water.
Now, I get to relax and unwind and get myself ready for my Masses tomorrow. Thankfully, I have the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon, so I can “sleep in” a bit.
G’night. See you tomorrow.
