“Our darkness is never darkness. In your sight, the deepest dark is clear as the daylight.” That was the closing antiphon to this evening’s Taize Prayer, a reflective service of song, reading, and silent prayer done in near dark conditions with various candles providing rays of light. This beautiful ecumenical prayer is done at our parish during Advent and Lent. Because of the pandemic, we had several people in the church and many more viewing the service either on Facebook or on our YouTube page.
Whatever the problems in our world, God’s people always find a way to pray!
