I went to Michigan City this evening to do a funeral service at Ott-Haverstock Funeral Home for Robert Keppen. Bob was the younger brother of our former bookkeeper, Barb Gondeck. I knew him well the years I was the pastor at Queen of All Saints Church in Michigan City.
Bob was a proud usher and also loved the parish festival and working at it. He helped anyone who needed it. I’m sure he and his sister are chatting up a storm now that they’re reunited.
