When social media platforms came out years ago, there were many who lamented their arrival and many more who warned that they could be dangerous. We have seen terrible abuses of the platform as people have been targeted for ridicule and bullying and even teen suicides because of the online bullying.
Social media platforms began to tighten up what could be posted and began blocking some from posting violent content.
Apparently that is changing again. The news is reported today that Facebook is allowing posts on their platform that encourage or call for attacking or killing Russians and/or Putin. Where does this stuff take us? Where does this stuff end? It’s not a good day for society, that’s for sure.
