Today was a sea day. We’ve been sailing at a very low speed from Nassau to Royal Caribbean’s private island, Coco Cay. We will get there tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. We are chugging along at a speed of six knots.
I love sea days. I was sitting on my balcony this afternoon drinking my soft drink, Fanta Zero Grape. It was so relaxing. I was just sitting there, watching the clouds and the water, listening to the water lap against the hull of the ship, and my mind began to free associate.
Before I knew it, I was thinking about the Bay City Rollers. Want to know the connection? Don’t groan too hard. I was so enjoying the relaxation that I thought, “This could very well be my Fanta Sea.”
