Today was a busy day start to finish! I began by opening the church and setting up for morning Mass. Then, I had a 7:00 a.m. appointment.
At 7:30 a.m., the Stewardship Commission met for its monthly meeting. We went over a few programs that have been ongoing and are bringing new people to ministry.
At 8:30 a.m., I had the morning Mass.
9:00 a.m. was our Parish Pastoral Council meeting. We are looking ahead at discernment sessions for those who might want to be new members of the council (we replace four people each year).
After our Pastoral Council meeting, I headed to the office to do several different tasks, many of them “catch up” tasks after being gone for the week.
3:30 p.m. was after confessions and 5:30 p.m. was the evening Mass. After Mass, I locked and alarmed the church and then headed to the house about 7:00 p.m. to wind down. I’m speaking at all the Masses this weekend so will have to be there for the 6:30 a.m. Mass. I’m the celebrant of the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon tomorrow.
I think it’s time to crash. g’night
