This evening, I attended our parish’s Knights of Columbus council meeting. Before the meeting, we had a 1-2-3 Degree wherein we welcomed a new member. It’s always good to grow.
At the meeting, I thanked the council for the Christmas party we had this past Saturday evening. At the dinner, they presented me with a card and check for a combined birthday and Christmas gift. They were very generous.
I congratulated the council on their recent Christmas tree sale. Yesterday was their close up day. There are only two or three trees in the lot now and they have a sign out telling people to take a tree on the honor system: take the tree and leave a payment at the parish office. The trees went really fast this year!
