This evening, I was at St. Maria Goretti for a Lenten Penance Service. There were five of us hearing the confessions of those who attended.
This time of year is quite busy for priests as we help each other hear confessions as our people prepare for the celebration of Easter. At my parish, we will hear confessions this coming Tuesday, March 19, at 7:00 p.m.
Easter is getting close. Are you ready?
On another note, I was spared from being pied this afternoon because of the weather. It was only a reprieve, though, because they are planning on doing it tomorrow now. 😮
