The Finish Line Is In Sight

At therapy this afternoon, my therapist told me that the end is in sight.  After today, I have five more sessions to go, two and a half weeks to finish.  My strength is getting better and I can bend my knee to normal limits.  I’m at “average flexion” of 135 degrees bend.  All in all, everything’s going well.

Because the past couple of weeks had been so chaotic around the parish, we are finally getting around to celebrating our administrative professionals tomorrow with a nice lunch outside the building.  They do so much work and deserve the recognition they get.

Speaking of the end being in sight, our students are getting more and more squirrelly as summer vacation approaches.  Please pray that they can keep concentrating until the end of the school year.

Finally, speaking of praying, please pray for the electing cardinals of the Church who will begin the Conclave tomorrow in order to elect a new pope.  Pray that they listen to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.  Thank you!
