Today, we arrived in Sitka, Alaska around 9:00 a.m. The ship was cleared by 9:35 a.m. and we all went out on excursions or to visit the town. I took a Sea Otter and Wildlife tour. I got a lot of pictures of scenery because the wildlife was too fast for me. 🙂

Then, I made it back to the dock
After dinner, I went to the show to see Starwater. You can see a YouTube video of it here:
YOU can watch the show, I couldn’t. After about fifteen minutes into it, one of the sections of the floor that lifts the actors up on a raised platform came into contact with the side of the stage and ripped some woodwork off of it. It was going to take a repair job and necessitated the cancelation of tonight’s show. They’re going to rebook us for another showtime later in the week.
Tomorrow, we arrive in Skagway, Alaska.
This evening, we received word that one of our retired priests, Fr. Pat Gaza, passed away in Indianapolis this afternoon. Kindly keep the repose of his soul in your prayers.
