The vast majority of the day was taken up going on the White Pass train up the mountain and into Fraser, Canada where we disembarked the train and took a bus back down to Skagway. If you do not believe that there is something greater than us after viewing the awesome majesty of these mountains, then something is definitely wrong.
Coming back from Fraser, we stopped at the Welcome to Alaska sign for our obligatory picture. 🙂
I think I’m done for the night. I’m going to relax in my room and read. Tomorrow’s an early rise as the ship approaches Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. We will cruise by them for a few hours on our way to Juneau. Juneau is our last “big” stop. Saturday will be a sea day and, for all practical purposes, Sunday will be a sea day as well since we won’t get into Victoria, British Columbia until 5:30 p.m. and leave around 9:00 p.m.
Monday, we’ll find ourselves back in Seattle and heading back to our respective home towns. This has been a wonderful trip thus far and we have really lucked out on the weather.
