This evening began my “last Masses” with my parishioners. The 5:30 p.m. Mass crowd was so very generous in a standing ovation toward the end of Mass when I said farewell to them.
Tomorrow’s Masses will be the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon.
I will miss the people I have served for twenty-three years. But it -is- time to move on and retirement beckons.
