The end of the year is quickly approaching.
This morning, I went to Centier Bank to cash a CD that had just matured and have it put into my checking account. It is money that I set aside for my maintenance fees for my ownership interest with Disney Vacation Club.
Afterwards, I went to the grocery for a few supplies. I don’t buy much at a time because it is a pain in the patoot to climb up and down the four flights of stairs in this heat and humidity because our condo building still does not have elevators that are functional. It’s been almost two months now. There are many residents that are elderly and/or with medical conditions (like myself) that make the steps really difficult to do. Just my breathing problems alone at this time of the year are worsened when I go up and down those humid flights.
We heard yesterday that it will be at least another week now before the elevators are repaired. So next week, I will be clunking my luggage down the four flights when I leave for my vacation again. I thought that would have been over when I took my cruise in July but no.
Oh well, enough whining. I know that there are people who are in far worse condition than I am.
