Whelp, I believe that’s probably it for the year. The weather is taking a downward trend/spike in temperatures and I probably won’t need my air conditioner again until next spring.
I’ve had my windows open a crack to keep my unit from overheating. On the fourth floor of the condo building with the sun up and full, the rooms can get warm. With my windows open and cool air coming in, my rooms were being held around 75 degrees today. And that’s okay by me.
When I was younger, I would say “75?!!!” But now that I’m older and my system doesn’t necessarily run as hot, this is a comfortable temp.
It’s funny how we change as we age. I remember going on Communion calls to my shut ins. Whenever I went to a home that was being kept really warm, I could barely make it through the visit. As I got older, same people, same temps, it felt just fine to me.
I wonder what the next thing to change on me will be. 🙂
