Today was a killer of a day for me. I had the morning 8:30 a.m. Mass followed by a funeral at 10:00 a.m. and then at 12:00 Noon. This afternoon, I went to see my aunt. She was not feeling well and her color was really off. I cut my visit with her short so she could go back to bed.
In the afternoon, I went to the funeral home to do a wake service for tomorrow’s funeral. Turns out that I could not do the service as the wife of the deceased had not arrived at the funeral home yet and no one was going in to the chapel as they were waiting for her to view him first. Unfortunately, I had to leave for other appointments.
When I got back early evening, I had just go to the house when my aunt called me. She was feeling extremely sick and asked me to come over and sit with her. She was very ill and frightened to be alone. I stayed with her about forty-five minutes until the medications that she took helped her to feel better again.
Now, I’m ready for bed. That’s all. Just ready for bed. I have a very busy day tomorrow. After this weekend, things -should- slow down for me and, the week after that, I will be leaving for vacation. I’m looking forward to my Bahamas Cruise!
