It was a wonderful testament to Fr. Beeching that he had approximately thirty priests at his funeral Mass today. That’s almost half of the priests in our diocese! And I know a few who could not be there because they had funerals at their parish that they had to do.
When you touch someone’s life, you make a difference. Roy was that kind of person. He had problems that he had to face in life; but, he was a priest’s priest and a friend to anyone in need.
May we all be remembered fondly at the end of our days!
