Well, the Department of Health is considering members of the clergy to be a part of health care professionals since we often go out to our people in hospitals, nursing homes, individual homes, and hospice centers. Since we do, they are making the COVID-19 vaccine available to us.
Since I am definitely one of those who are considered in the “compromised” group, I have made a first-available appointment for Wednesday, January 13, to get the first injection of the vaccine at Munster’s Community Hospital. Fingers crossed, hoping for the best, and putting myself in God’s hands.
