Wow. I was uber-impressed this afternoon when I went to Community Hospital for my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine for coronavirus. There were a lot of people moving through and they had the areas staged so well that everything went smoothly. I had practically zero wait time as the lines kept moving efficiently.
After the vaccine was administered, they make you go to a common area and wait for fifteen minutes in order to make sure you do not have a reaction to the vaccine. They also give you water if you feel you need it and they immediately schedule your second appointment. I have my appointment on February 3.
As soon as the appointment was scheduled, I received a text verification on my phone. Additionally, when I returned home, I found an email that simply stated: ISDH: Michael, your appointment is complete. Thanks for doing your part to help Indiana stay healthy.
Community Hospital, kudos on a job well done! Thank YOU for doing your part to keep us all healthy.
