There are times that my blog just doesn’t decide to post. Yesterday was one of those times. Sorry about that. I just “kicked the tires” of this beast and the post went out. Congratulations, once again, to our parishioners who received their First Holy Communion yesterday!
Today was a laid back kind of day for me. I’m still relatively sore from this weather. I got to the office at 6:30 a.m. and worked on my portion of next Sunday’s bulletin. That’s all wrapped up and ready for the bulletin editor. Then, I had the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon Masses.
After Mass, I went out to Boss Man Tacos to get some take out for lunch. I really recommend the place. It’s good, fast, and priced well. They even have $1 street tacos that you can order.
When I got home from picking up my lunch, I went downstairs and threw my laundry into the washing machine. I ate lunch, watched a movie, and washed/dried my clothes. It was, all in all, a relatively calm day to relax. The weather is beautiful out there but it’s playing havoc with my sinuses (along with the allergens: tree and flower pollen and the like.)
So, I took it easy through the evening and am going to bed and hoping for a good night’s sleep as I get up early for the 6:30 a.m. Mass tomorrow.
