Today was CRAZY.
It was supposedly my day off but that didn’t materialize for a long time. I finally got a little time to myself after 4:00 p.m. The traditional work day is almost over by that point. How can you call that a day off. Oh well. This is the life I signed up to live. 🙂
Tomorrow is going to be just as crazy. My “day off” is technically from Noon Wednesday through Noon Thursday. However, tomorrow, I will have to be at the office by 9:00 a.m. to prepare for a 10:00 a.m. funeral. Immediately after the funeral, I have to jump in my car and get to the Pastoral Center for a consultors’ meeting followed by a priests’ council meeting. I will arrive about a half hour late to the consultors’ meeting because of the funeral.
Two crazy days in a row. That demands rest tonight.
