It’s that time of the year. Christmas parties at places of work abound. They are just as plentiful at parishes, maybe even more so based upon the different groups that parishes have.
Last week, we had our Christmas dinner for our school administration, faculty, and staff as well as our parish staff. This morning, we had a Christmas brunch after our Pastoral Council meeting. This evening, the Knights of Columbus had their annual Family Christmas Dinner. Tomorrow, the Altar and Rosary Society at the parish will have their Christmas luncheon. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
A lot of wonderful food at all these gatherings but enough to make our doctors cringe. 🙂 But, hey, it’s just once a year.
