Today, I purchased my airfare for Chicago to Rome for next October’s transatlantic cruise onboard Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas. It cost an arm and a leg. This year’s presents from many of my parishioners will be going toward the flight rather than toward my Disney vacation in January. 🙂
I’ve never been on a Dreamliner plane before. I’m flying United’s 787-8 Dreamliner in their Premium Economy seat. More seat width, leg room, and reclining ability (6″ instead of 3″ in economy). I’m going to have to psych myself up for the flight when it gets nearer, though, because it’s a 9 hour and 10 minute flight. Any flight over 5 hours and I begin to get stir-crazy, especially if they don’t let you get up and walk around.
