It’s Starting To Get Real

And I’m starting to get nervous.

I am leaving for vacation on Tuesday.  I had morning Mass, afternoon confessions, and the evening Mass today.  Tomorrow, I have the “early morning shows” as I call them:  the 6:30 and 8:00 a.m. Masses.  🙂  I will have to lock and alarm the church after the Noon Mass and then prepare for an afternoon wake service for a funeral on Monday.

Monday, I have the 8:30 a.m. school Mass and a 10:00 a.m. funeral.  After the funeral, I need to do some final laundry and then, in the late afternoon, pack my bags for my two week vacation.

Tuesday, I will be picked up for a ride to O’Hare and leave early evening for a 10:30 a.m. arrival in Barcelona on Wednesday.  Check into the hotel Wednesday, check out Thursday, board the ship (Oasis of the Seas) Thursday and then begin a two week process back home complete with eight sea days.

I won’t begin to full relax until the ship is pulling away from the dock in Barcelona.  Until then, it will be stress city for me.  You’d think by now I would be used to all of this but it seems the older I get the less my body is able to handle the stress.  Oh well.  Here’s to a night’s sleep before I begin my few days pre-trip.

g’night

Oasis of the Seas is in drydock presently getting herself
all ready for our transatlantic cruise.
