The weather did exactly what it was forecast to do. That, in and of itself, is unusual. 🙂
I celebrated the 8:30 a.m. Mass this morning and then retreated to my office for an hour and a half to get some work done. Around 10:15 a.m., I decided to start my day off. I could have stayed longer because my knee wasn’t hurting too bad yet but it was not my knee that I was considering but, rather, the sky. It was starting to show signs of the impending snow to come.
I crossed the parking lot to the rectory, got inside, and within ten minutes, the snow started. At first, it was a real light flurry. Then, it turned into about a half hour of sleeting. Finally, it turned into snow.
And I didn’t care because I was ensconced in the house as snug as a bug in a rug.
Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., I have my two-week follow-up with the orthopedic doctor to determine the next steps. I am really hopeful, though. To my untrained eye, I think I’m improving well. We’ll see what the professional says. Cross your fingers.
