Today was nothing really special. I did a bit of cleaning in my condo and also went out grocery shopping. I’ve finally finished replacing all the food that I lost from the refrigerator and freezer. In the afternoon, I heard about a water main bursting in Munster in a section of town that still doesn’t even have power and I thought, “Good Lord, how much more do people have to go through?!”
Then I read about all those who have no water because they are dependent upon wells and, therefore, well pumps that are not functioning because they are still without power.
There is still so much devastation going on around us and it’s really bringing me down. All I can do is pray for those who are still without and pray for those who are trying their best to get people connected again.
