Morning Mass followed by reading on the promenade. Light lunch followed by quality time on the balcony. Dinner was “Royal Night” and included an option for lobster. When on Royal Night… 🙂
After dinner, I went to the show. They did their production number of Columbus, The Musical! I’ve included a link to one of the shows that I found on YouTube. Click on the highlighted link in the box to be taken to YouTube.
You’re probably going to laugh, but after the show I booked another cruise at the Future Cruise office onboard.
Next year, I’m taking a transatlantic cruise from Civitavecchia (Rome) back to Florida. That’s October 31st. Well…..
As I thought about it, I thought “Why not a back-to-back cruise while I’m over there?” Then I said to myself, “Why not?!” So…..
I booked a seven day cruise October 24-31 in the same stateroom that I’ll have for the transatlantic. The cruise is going to the Greek Isles: Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy / Santorini, Greece /Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey / Mykonos, Greece / Naples Capri, Italy / Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy.
I’ve never been there before and it’s close to off-season so the temps will be more mild and the crowds much less.
Booking onboard, I only had to pay a $100 deposit. It’s usually much more than that. Also got great discount on the fare. I’m going to be in Europe anyway, so why not?
Tomorrow is our final day at sea. Saturday morning we will find ourselves docked at Port Canaveral.
That’s all the news that’s fit to print.
Tonight we get an extra hour of sleep. g’night
