Today did -not- go as I had expected it to go.
First of all, I expected to sleep in. That didn’t work. Didn’t work at all. I was up around 5:30 a.m. (which would have been 6:30 a.m. ship’s time).
As long as I was awake, I did my morning video. After I posted the video I thought, what the heck, let’s go grocery shopping. So at 6:30 a.m., I found myself at Strack & Van Til in Munster shopping to restock my fridge.
When I got home and put all the groceries away, I thought, might as well hit the laundry. So I got the laundry started.
While the laundry was going, I set up and celebrated Mass. Can’t miss that, especially on Sunday.
After Mass and laundry duties, I went to the fridge and did some meal prepping for the week. I now have things I can turn to for the next few days.
I was going to take a nap this afternoon but got stuck watching a movie on YouTube. I’m going to go to bed early tonight — because I’m really beat — and hope that I can sleep and, perhaps, sleep in tomorrow.
