Mexican Riviera 2026 – Day Six

This morning began on a bit of an ominous note.  At 6:30 a.m., the skies were looking foreboding.

I did my morning video and then headed to the Windjammer at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast.  Before eating, though, I thought I would go for a swim.  A crew member took my picture for me. 🙂

After breakfast, I headed to the Solarium to read.  You can see by the skies through the windows up top that the morning had cleared up into a bright and beautiful day.

Therefore, at 10:00 a.m., I left the Solarium and went to my balcony to continue reading and enjoying the sea and the sky.

It remained a beautiful day all day though the coolest day of the week thus far.  The tropical storm brought the temps down.  By 4:30 p.m., the skies were still wondrous.

Today was my birthday.  My birthday happened to fall on Royal Night in the Main Dining Room.  I had lobster.  My waiters celebrated my birthday with me.

Returning to my room after dinner, I went out the balcony once again to take in the sunset.  There were so many clouds that it was not going to be very visible but the clouds were catching and dispersing delicate colors.

Tomorrow is the last full day of this cruise.  We will be making port in Ensenada.  I have a shore excursion on an open top tour bus.  This will let me see the sights of Ensenada and determine where I might want to visit after the tour is complete.

Well, that’s about it for the day.  I’m going to hit the sack to be ready for tomorrow.

g’night
