I had to go to the hospital lab this morning to have blood drawn and a urine sample given in preparation for my visit with my doctor on Wednesday morning. The reader’s digest condensed version is that my a1c went from 6.8 to 6.7 (I’ll take any little victory! 🙂 ) and the urinalysis, to my uneducated eye, looks normal. They ran a test to see if there is any preliminary kidney damage from diabetes. The three markers were all in the normal range.
I’m looking forward to a good visit with my doctor Wednesday.
