Well, we made it to St. Meinrad Archabbey Guesthouse in one piece. We left Merrillville at Noon and got here around 5:30 p.m. The roads were clear and traffic was moving smoothly, thankfully.
After we checked in, we went to Ferdinand to eat dinner. We went to the Agave Mexican Restaurant, our usual Sunday night dinner place when we come here on retreat. They feed you a lot of food for a reasonable price.
Afterwards, we stopped at CVS to pick up a few things that we needed and then came back to the retreat house.
I just checked a few things on line and now I am going to rest with a Kindle book and relax.
