Well, I got to sleep in this morning. Yes. I say that. However, I was awake at 5:00 a.m. and rolled out of bed by 6:00 a.m. I had my scouts on my mind. Their scoutmaster emailed me yesterday and asked me if I would be there to pray over them and bless them on their way to Ransburg for scout camp. I kept worrying that I would oversleep. Instead, I was up early. I did get to them, though.
It was kind of funny, however. When I went to pray with them, I had to use my umbrella because it was raining lightly. All the scouts, who were going to “rough it” for the week, were collected in the scouting garage so they wouldn’t get wet. I’m thinking to myself, “You’re going to be outside all week and you’re hiding in the garage.” Okay. I confess. I did not think that to myself. I heckled them with that greeting. 🙂
After the blessing, I went to the church to get ready for the 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon Masses. When Mass was over, I locked and alarmed the church and then took Fr. Corona to meet Fr. Chadwick and we all went out to lunch. The Warsaw Inn was our lunch trough. If you like polish food, you cannot go wrong eating there.
My sinus headache is still pounding because of this shifting weather. I’m hoping that it will be better tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to know it’s own little complication as I go to the dentist for my regular teeth cleaning as well as to replace an upper filling that has not been touched since I was in high school. It is beginning to break away and causing some pain when I chew on that side. A lower filling was replaced three weeks ago (from high school as well) and the upper will be replaced tomorrow. I should be good to go after that. It will be nice when it is replaced because enough of it has chipped away that food collects between my two upper teeth. The filling will take care of that present gap.
I hope you have a good night and a wonderful tomorrow!
