It’s been two weeks now since I’ve been “at the helm” of the diocese. Actually, two weeks yesterday. For all it’s worth, we’re still here. I didn’t do anything too boneheadedly wrong or put us a defcon 1. I should get some kind of prize for that, shouldn’t I? Like, maybe the notification that a bishop has been found for us and I don’t have to do this much longer? 🙂
I know that the wait will be a while, yet. It generally takes Rome six to eight months to provide a new bishop to a waiting diocese. I’ll just keep doing the best that I can while we wait.
