I guess everyone — and every creature — has dreams. This calf must have dreams of becoming a big rock star some day!
Today was my “day off” and, for the most part, has been. I took care of a fair amount of business on and off throughout the day, some parish and some diocesan; yet, I was able to do so remotely and none of it was panic button material. I’m thankful for that.
After school, I was at the call out meeting for this fall’s production of Willy Wonka, Jr. I’m excited to see how the musical will come out this year. I have been here long enough to have memories of the last time we did the same musical several years ago. I’ll be looking forward to comparing and contrasting the two shows. As always, I’m a self-proclaimed “best fan” of the students and their productions!
I sat out on my deck at the house for a fair amount of time again today and well expect the itchy eyes and burning throat from my allergies. But, as I have said in the past, it was oh, so worth it.
