I woke up early this morning because I didn’t sleep very good in the hotel bed in Indy. At 9:00 a.m., we had Mass at the diocesan office’s chapel in Indianapolis. After Mass, we had a light breakfast and meeting of the Indiana Catholic Conference Board.
When we finished, it was time for lunch. Thankfully, the provided box lunches. I grabbed one, hopped in my car, and ate on the road since I needed to get to the Pastoral Center in Merrillville for a couple of meetings.
When I finished with the meetings, I got back to the parish about 4:30 p.m. and then left at 5:15 p.m. for a dinner meeting with one of our diocesan groups. I just got back to the parish about twenty minutes ago (8:45 p.m.) and, let me tell you, I’m ready for bed!
